Cabaret month in September at PizzaExpress Live

I have 3 exciting cabarets coming up in September at two of the PizzaExpress Live venues:

SUNDAY 1 SEPTEMBER at 8:00pm at PizzaExpress Live (Holborn) - The 2019 graduates from London Studio Centre who recently performed in Little Shop of Horrors at the Pleasance Theatre are giving a concert to celebrate their graduation. Tickets available here.

SUNDAY 8 SEPTEMBER at 8:00pm at The Pheasantry - The Ella McCready Trio is proud to launch our debut album “I Just…”, featuring many songs from the new album. Copies of the CD will be available at the concert. Tickets available here.

SUNDAY 22 SEPTEMBER at 1:30pm at PizzaExpress Live (Holborn) - Fresh from Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar and Les Miserables, Matt Bateman, Melanie Bright, Charlotte Vaughan and Tom Sterling perform some of their favourite musical theatre numbers in West End Night Off. Freedom of the Worshipful Company of Musicians

I was delighted to be admitted to the Freedom of the Worshipful Company of Musicians at the Tallow Chandlers Hall. It is an honour to be part of this wonderful 500 year old organisation.

Playing in the Royal Albert Hall

Great fun playing another show in the Royal Albert Hall - always a pleasure to play with such an excellent band to a capacity audience!

Cast of Phantom of the Opera return to Holborn

Members of the cast of Phantom of the Opera return to PizzaExpress Live (Holborn) for another fun cabaret. Join Charlotte Vaughan, Tom Sterling, Josie Kemp, Lauren Soley, Oliver Saville and me for lots of musical theatre songs, both past and contemporary. Show starts at 8:00pm with doors open at 6:00pm.

Little Shop of Horrors

I am delighted to announce that I am currently Musical Director for the Seedtime’s (London Studio Centre’s Musical Theatre degree course) final year production of Little Shop of Horrors. We have been busy rehearsing for 3 weeks already and are looking forward to the performances at The Pleasance Theatre on 14-16 June 2019.

Recording our debut album

We had a wonderful 2 days with the Ella McCready Trio at Ashwood Music Studios in Norwich recording our debut album. Very exciting times! The album will be released in July, and we will mark this with a show at The Pheasantry in September. More details to follow!

Early New Year gig with stars of the West End and Opera

Get in the Christmas spirit with "O Holy Night" in Welsh

Last year I had the pleasure of accompanying Luke McCall and Jade Davies in “O Sanctaidd Nos” on Welsh TV. One of my favourite Christmas songs which I first sang aged 7 at Highgate School with my wonderful Welsh music teacher Ieuan Roberts who is my inspiration.

Ella McCready Trio tour of Norfolk

The Ella McCready Trio has four exciting gigs in Norfolk this October: Thursday 18 October at Titchwell Manor, Friday 19 October at the Norfolk Arts Awards 2018, Sunday 21 October at The Hostry in Norwich Cathedral for an evening of food and jazz, and Monday 22 October at the Belfry Centre for Music & Arts in Cromer.

Hostry Festival Launch Night in Norwich

The Ella McCready Trio is delighted to be performing at the Hostry Festival Launch Night in Norwich Cathedral. We will also be playing during the festival in October for the Norfolk Arts Awards.

Sell out show at the Pheasantry

Absolutely delighted that our debut performance for the Ella McCready Trio was SOLD OUT at The Pheasantry last night! A wonderful evening of fun music, with a programme including Rachmaninov and AC/DC - probably never before performed in the same concert!  

Ella McCready Trio London debut

The Ella McCready Trio has its London debut at The Pheasantry on TUESDAY 21 AUGUST. Songs will include Sam Smith's Lay Me Down, Nina Simone's Feeling Good, and cello favourites including I Giorni by Einaudi and Rachmaninov's Vocalise.
